Ex Energy PS Pleads Not Guilty to 4 Counts of Abuse of Authority

Former Energy Permanent Secretary Charity Mwansa and Charles Mulenga a Director at the then Ministry of Mines and Energy have pleaded not guilty to four counts of abuse of authority and theft by public servant.
The duo denied the allegations before Lusaka Magistrate Greenwell Malumani.
The duo is alleged to have stolen money worthy over Ten Million United States Dollars and is also alleged to have procured oil from Trafigura without following the contract procedure.
