Fuel Price Increment Prematurely Done -CSPR

Civil Society for Poverty Reduction Executive Director Patrick Nshindano says the fuel increment adjusted by the Energy Regulation Board was done prematurely.
Mr. Nshindano has observed that there are a number of processes that were supposed to be followed before effecting a new fuel tariff.
And Mr. Nshindano has predicted high poverty levels following the increment of fuel prices last Friday.
Speaking to MUVI TV NEWS in an interview, Mr. Nshindano said the cost of living will drastically increase and in the end affect the vulnerable in society.
Meanwhile, Unitying Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa Reverend-in-charge Petson Kabala has called on Zambians to embrace the culture of saving if poverty levels are to be addressed.
He was speaking ahead of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty which falls on the October 17 every year.
