HH Condemns Veep Alleged Remarks Against UPND

UPND leader, Hakainde Hichilema says he is disappointed with vice President Inonge Wina sentiments in parliament on Friday that the UPND wishes President Lungu dead.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka on Saturday, Mr. Hichilema says it is unfair for Mrs. Wina to accuse the UPND of wishing the President dead.
On Friday Mrs. Wina in responding to a question raised by Mazabuka central member Parliament, Garry Nkombo on whether the day of prayers had achieved reconciliation, is alleged to have insinuated that the UPND wishes President Lungu dead.
And Mr. Hichilema says it is unfortunate that speaker of the national assembly Dr. Patrick Matibini allegedly failed to defend Mr. Nkombo who posed the question.
