14-Day Ultimatum Into Controversial Kasama Land An Empty Commitment

A 14-day ultimatum in which the case of Kasama land scam was expected to be investigated has proved to be an empty commitment.
The ultimatum which was set for Tuesday, October 25, has yielded no result.
This is the case Northern Province Permanent Secretary Hlobotha Nkunika instructed to be investigated into the controversial forest 47 land which was said to have been shared by some civil servants.
However, both Mr Nkunika and Kasama Town Clerk Godwin Chinoya refused to comment on matter.
But Kasama District Commissioner Kelly Kashiwa says he is already making head-ways with investors who want to acquire the Land for infrastructure development.
