Veep Distances Pf From Calls To Change President’s Tenure Of Office

Vice president Inonge Wina has distanced herself and the party in general from the comments made by Mr. Moonga on the change of tenure of the office of the president.
Patriotic Front Member of the Central Committee Paul Moonga proposed the extension of the tenure of office for elected officials from the current five to seven years.
According to the vice president, Mr. Moonga made those comments in his personal capacity.
Forum for democracy and development FDD spokesperson Antonio Mwanza has doubted the explanation given by the vice president.
