CCJP Calls For Action Against Looters

The Catholic Church has described the annual production of the auditor general reports as a sheer waste of time and resources.
Catholic Commission for Peace and Justice-CCJP-North western Province Coordinator, John Kalusa says this is because no tangible action is taken against culprits cited for abuse of government resources.
He says it is worrying that institutions mandated to investigate corruption and abuse of government resources have to await for directives from the head of state for them to act.
Mr. Kalusa adds that if civil servants are left scout free after stealing government funds then the country is doomed.
