Chipata Mayor Urges Govt To Take Over Tennis Club

Chipata Mayor Sinoya Mwale has urged the Ministry of Sports to take over the tennis Club currently under the Gondar Barracks.
Speaking when Sports Minister Moses Mawere toured DK Stadium and the Tennis Club, Mwale said it is sad that the tennis club is currently being used as a drinking place.
And Mawere has directed Ministry of Sport staff to take up the matter and find a solution.
Earlier, Mawere who is also Chipata Central Member of Parliament paid a courtesy call on the Provincial Minister Makebi Zulu who advised him not to concentrate on football alone when prioritizing sports programes.
