A new project meant to improve service delivery in agriculture and health sectors has been launched.
The project will aim at strengthening the oversight and social accountability roles of public resources in the SADC region.
ActionAid Zambia country Director Nalucha Ziba says irregular payments such as highlighted in the 2015 Auditor General’ report presents the need and importance for such an initiative.
A consortium of civil society Organisations comprising ActionAid, Partnership for Social Accountability Alliance and Southern Africa HIV and AIDS Information Dissemination Service – SAfAIDS with support from the Swiss agency for development and corporation is behind the project.
