HH Calls On Church, NGOs To Break Silence On Zambia’s ‘Deteriorating’ Democracy

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has called on the church and the Non-governmental Organisations-NGOs to break their silence on what he has termed as deteriorating democracy in Zambia.
Mr. Hichilema says the country’s democracy under the current leadership is slowly disappearing.
And Mr. Hichilema has maintained that his party will never recognize Edgar Lungu as president of Zambia.
The UPND leader has further called on Zambians to ensure they protect their rights charging that respect for human rights under the PF leadership is not an issue.
He was speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka.
