HH Demands Museveni’s Apology over Zambia’s Election Results Utterances

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has demanded that Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni apologises to Zambians for stating that the elections were free and fair.
Mr Hichilema says Zambia is a sovereign state with its own laws, hence the Ugandan leader is out of order to commemnt on the country’s political situation.
He says the election results are being challenged in the courts of law and that Mr Museveni’s comments are tantamount to contempt of court.
Mr Hichilema has since called on the Ugandan High Commission to render a public apology on behalf of their President over utterances that the UPND should stop fanning violence and accept election results.
He has cautioned that Mr Museveni will not be allowed to introduce his style of leadership in Zambia as it is detrimental to development.
