Insurance Association Bemoans Low Levels Of Public Participation

Insurance Association of Zambia has bemoaned the low levels of participation in the insurance sector.
Association president Paul Nkhoma says about ninety seven percent of the country’s population believe that insurance is for the elite, a situation that leaves many people in huge debts after suffering calamities.
And North-Western Province Permanent secretary, Ephraim Mateyo says government is committed to ensure that citizens learn and embrace the importance of insurance.
The duo was speaking during the on-going 2016 insurance week celebration.
