Matero Residents Vow To Continue Building On Disputed Land

SOS residents in Lusaka’s Matero constituency have maintained that they will continue with the construction of shops on ZAFICO land.
This is despite the area councilor telling the residents to stop the alleged illegal construction.
Group Chairlady Mwape Nkanka has told Muvi TV news that the land was given to them by late president Micheal Sata in 2012.
But last month government officials ordered the residents to immediately stop the construction of shops on ZAFICO land.
