Ministry Of Lands Not In A Hurry To Address The Plight Of Displaced Lusaka West Residents

The Ministry of Lands is not in a hurry to address the plight of over 20 families whose houses were demolished at Zombe farm in Lusaka west.
One of the victims Ruth mwale has disclosed that lands minister jean kapata has informed them that she is new at the Ministry and therefore needs time to study their case.
Mrs. Mwale was one of the affected families’ representatives who attended a meeting called to look in to the case at the Ministry headquarters.
Meanwhile, the residents have maintained that they were unfairly treated by officers from the Office of the President’s Staff College.
On Saturday over 20 houses at Zombe Farm next to OP College were demolished, leaving the families stranded.
