Proposed Re-Tabling Of Referendum Welcomed

Prospects of the country holding another referendum on the bill of rights has been welcomed by stakeholders.
The Youth Network Zambia says the move is well intended as the process borders on Zambian’s rights.
Organization Legal Director, Leon Lemba has since called on political parties to put aside their affiliations for a successful referendum.
The referendum which was held alongside the August 11, 2016 general elections is said to have failed because some political parties and civil society organisations campaigned against the process.
