CSOs Object To Constitutional Amendments

Some Civil Society Organisations-CSOs say the proposed amendment to the constitution will result in the destruction of the document if left unchecked.
Speaking on behalf of the three CSOs, Alliance for Community Action Board Member Laura Miti says it is sad that pledges and oaths made by President Edgar Lungu to uphold and defend the constitution have been abandoned.
The CSOs have since vowed to object any attempts to amend the constitution.
