George Lwandamina Resigns As Zesco Coach

George Lwandamina says he has resigned as Zesco United coach in order to take up new challenges.
Lwandamina has confirmed that he is in talks with Tanzanian giants, Young Africans and is hopeful that the discussions will be successful.He says he enjoyed his time at Zesco and would want to test his coaching skills abroad as he never played for a foreign club during his career.
Lwandamina tendered in his resignation letter on Monday morning, a day after witnessing his sides 3-2 loss against Nkana Football Club at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
He says he also felt the need to resign in order to allow Zesco United bring in a new coach with ideas on how they can maintain their status as football giants.
Assistant coach Tennant Chembo takes up the club until at the end of the season.
