Investigations Into UTH “Negligence” Case Commence

The Ministry of Health has opened investigations in the case of alleged negligency that resulted in the death of an infant at the University Teaching Hospital-UTH.
Spokesperson Dr Kamoto Mbewe says the Ministry will ensure it gets to the bottom of the matter.
Jacklyne Malunga of Lusaka’s Nyumba Yanga area lost her child immediately after a caesarian delivery due to what she terms as negligence by some medical personnel at the country’s biggest health institution.
