Kafulafuta Challenges Overshadow Area’s Economic Gains

The lack of schools, health and proper road infrastructure has overshadowed the economic gains made by people in Kafulafuta constituency on the Copperbelt province.
Agriculture is the mainstay for the people of Kafulafuta, but most farmers gain less profit as they are overcharged by transporters owing to bad roads.
Access to education also remains a challenge in the area as there is only one boys’ boarding school and few basic schools.Kafulafuta Member of Parliament Joseph Kabamba admits that the challenges have impacted negatively on the lives of the people, and commits himself to changing the situation.
