Livingstone Male GBV Victim Speaks Out

A Livingstone man says men will be part of the continuous statistical numbers of those being murdered by their wives as long as they remain silent when they are being abused.
Sekume Ngobeka says many men have decided to remain quiet for fear of being mocked.
Ngobeka who is a victim of an abusive marriage says he often found himself in Police custody whenever he was beaten by his ex-wife because of misconception that a man is always a perpetrator of violence.
He has since called for a change in mindset in order to save several men who are battling abusive relationships silently in their homes.
