The first heavy downpour in Lusaka has left many areas flooded.
Residents in most parts of the city had to wade through water logged streets.
Lusaka’s central business district, Chawama compound, the industrial area and other flood prone residential areas were not spared.
And residents in Chawama compound are calling on relevant authorities to put up drainages.
President Edgar Lungu on Thursday toured some drainage works in Lusaka calling for the demolition of structures hindering the works.
