M.O.H Inertia In Investigating UTH Negligence Case Angers Victim

Despite the seriousness of the matter, the Ministry of Health has still not seen the urgency of investigating the case in which the University Teaching Hospital-UTH has been accused of negligence.
This is the matter in which 31-year-old Jacklyn Malunga lost her baby immediately after delivery at the country’s biggest health institution after medical staff attending to her allegedly delayed to take her for an operation.
Jacklyn who followed up the case at the Ministry following delayed response, says it is disappointing that the Ministry has not even commenced investigations into the matter.
Just recently, Ministry Spokesperson Reuben Kamoto Mbewe claimed that the Ministry had commenced investigations into the matter.
