Martha Mushipe’s Law Firm Dragged to Court Over Rentals

Libyan African Investment Company is seeking the court’s declaration to order Martha Mushipe’s Law Firm to leave their premises following the termination of a lease agreement.
According to a statement of claim filed in the Lusaka High Court the company wants to have Ms. Mushipe evicted forthwith for defaulting to pay rentals.
The company has pleaded to the court that as a result of Ms. Mushipe’s adamance the company has made losses amounting to one hundred and sixty thousand kwacha.
Early this week, court bailiffs pounced on the law firm and seized various office property.
