Over fifteen families of Chibebe Village under Chieftainess Mungule’s area have been left homeless after their houses were demolished.
An individual identified as Wilson Kaira is claiming ownership to the land on which the villagers have lived for over forty years.
The residents told Muvi TV news that a group of prisoners accompanied by police officers carried out the demolition at about 03 Hours.
And Katuba Member of Parliament Patricia Mwashingwele says it is unfortunate that Mr Kaira demolished the houses without discussing with the families who also have legal documents to support their stay.
