Police, Masaiti Family In Deadlock Over Relative’s Death

A family of Masaiti district has refused to bury their 25 year old relative until police take responsibility for causing his death.
Kelvin Libeleka was allegedly shot by the police after he questioned the manner in which his father was picked following a land dispute in the area.
Kelvin’s father is shocked that a police officer killed his son in cold blood.
Copperbelt police commissioner Charity Katanga has confirmed that a shooting incident took place in Chiwala, but the truth is yet to be established.
