Remember Community School Pupils In Sanitary Pads Distribution, Govt Urged

Teacher Unions are not happy with government’s failure to allocate the UNESCO recommended seven percent of the Gross Domestic Product-GDP to the education sector.
Zambia National Union of Teachers Spokesperson Joe Kasaka says it is sad that government can fail to honour a straight forward recommendation aimed at improving the education sector in the 2017 National Budget.And Basic Teachers Union of Zambia Spokesperson Kabika Kakunta wonders how government will be able to implement projects with only a 16.5 percent allocation to both the Ministry of General Education and that of Higher Education.
