Shang’ombo Losing Revenue Due To Non Availability Of Customs Office

Government is losing revenue in the Shang’ombo district of Western Province due to no availability of the Customs Office in the area.
Shang’ombo district has direct trade interactions with Angola but with no or little benefit from the trade.
Shang’ombo District Commissioner Captain Lawrence Nyambe has since appealed to the Ministry of Finance to release funds for the construction of a modern customs office.
Captain Nyambe says the district has lot of potential if right facilities are put in place.
