The Lusaka City Council-LCC Begins Unblocking Of Drainages

The Lusaka City Council-LCC has commenced the unblocking of drainages in various flood prone areas.
The Local Authority is currently opening up drainages in the Central Business district which blocked due to indiscriminate disposal of waste.
Council Public Relations manager Habeenzu Mulunda says the local Authority’s efforts to prevent floods in Lusaka will be in vain if residents do not desist from throwing foreign particles in drainages.
