UTH Negligence Due To Shortage Of Staff –Health Minister

Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya says the recent case of negligence recorded at UTH where a woman lost her newly born baby is due to shortage of medical personnel.
Dr. Chilufya says the modernization of the infrastructure will help reduce claims of negligence especially at the labour ward.
He however says the matter is still under investigations.
Last month, 31-year-old Jacklyn Malunga lost her baby immediately after birth.
