Zombe Village Land Squatters Panic As Ultimatum Draws Near

Squatters on the land said to belong to the Office of the President in Lusaka West are panicking as the 15-day ultimatum they were given to vacate the land comes to an end on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
The settlers say government should have considered other fair means unlike to evict them from the land which they have been occupying for over 50 years. They have, however, vowed not to vacate the land despite government’s official notification issued on November 1, 2016.
