Ex-Agric Minister Ben Kapita Put To Rest

The Zambia National Farmers Union has described late Ben Kapita as a Champion and true advocate of agriculture diversification in the country.
 
ZNFU President Jarvis Zimba says the former Minister of Agriculture was determined to ensure that the agricultural sector contributes to the economy at all levels.
 
Mr Zimba says Mr Kapita’s promotion of commercialized farming formed part of his leadership style in all institutions that he served in.
 
The late Mr Kapita, who was the longest serving ZNFU President from 1983 to 1996 has been put to rest  Monday, December 19, 2016 at his farm along the Ndola-Kapiri Mposhi road.
