Ex MMD Lusaka Province Chairperson William Banda Acquitted

Former MMD Lusaka Province Chairman William Banda has been acquitted on two counts of being in possession of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
Lusaka Magistrate Lameck Mwale has ruled that the prosecution failed to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt.
Mr Banda who is now UPND Presidential Advisor, was accused of having received motor vehicles and K100 thousand suspected to be proceeds of crime in 2011.
