JCTR Concerned Over Exclusion Of Persons With Disabilities

The Jesuit Centre For Theological Reflection – JCTR is concerned over the glaring cases of economic, social and political exclusion being experienced by persons with disabilities.
JCTR Director Father Leonard Chiti notes that the state of affairs prevents this class of people from education, health, accessing information and obtaining jobs.
He was speaking at the national symposium on person with disabilities aimed to discuss the effective ways to respond to the challenges.
At the same event Minister of Community, Mother and Child Development Emerine Kabanshi acknowledged the plight of the people living with disabilities but also advised them to be civil whenever they are aggrieved.
