Kambwili Tells Vedanta Resources To Pack Bags And Leave Zambia

Despite being out of government, Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili has told Vedanta Resources to pack their bags and go and allow other investors to take over operations at Konkola Copper Mines.The Former Chief Government spokesperson says the company has become a shadow of its former self and that he blames the Patriotic Front-PF government for choosing the wrong investors.
Mr. Kambwili says government has to make a decision on Vedanta who have failed to pay workers and suppliers on time.On Friday, workers in Chingola staged a protest over KCM’s failure to pay contractors and suppliers.
