Lusaka Golf Club Secretary Francisco Banda has urged top amateur golfers to consider turning proffesional.Speaking during the presentation of prize money to eventual winners of the two-day end of the year tournament, Banda said the door is open to golfers who feel their time is ready to take golf professionally.Meanwhile chairman of the players committee Patrick Mwendapole senior described the tournament as successful and thanked the Professional Golfers Association of Zambia PGAZ for sponsoring the tournament.Aaron Simfukwe Senior was the winner in the senior profession and pocketed 700 kwacha, while 19 year old Gabriel Chibale of Ndola came out first with Aaron Simfukwe junior coming out second in the top Amateur categroty.In the profession category Patrick Mwendapole senior got the top price and pocketed 2,100 kwacha while mohammed Zulu and Kelvin Phiri got the runners up position after they tied with 152 gross each.The event marked the end of 2016 golf calendar.
