Trial In GBM’s Alleged Illegal Drilling Delayed Again

Trial in a matter where UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba is indicted with 20 youths for alleged unlawful drilling has again been delayed.

The case which was scheduled for commencement of trial could not take off due to the absence of some youths indicted with Mr Mwamba.

Meanwhile their Defense Lawyer Martha Mushipe has told Principal Resident Magistrate Mwaka Mikalile that two youths who are on bench warrant have not been arrested as they are not traceable.

It is alleged that in Count One and Two, Mr Mwamba and 20 youths on dates unknown but between February 13 and February 27, 2016 jointly and whilst acting together with others unknown, did drill and accepted to be trained to the use of arms or the practice of military exercises.
