Two PF Cadres Plead Not Guilty To Conduct Likely To Cause Breach Of Peace

Two PF cadres have pleaded not guilty to one count of conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
38 year old Mubiana Mabebo, and Danny Lungu 32, both of Chipata whilst acting with three other unknown people allegedly conducted themselves in a manner that would breach the peace contrary to the law.
Meanwhile, the duo has told the court that Police officers at Petauke Central Police refused to give them medical reports after they were beaten by fellow cadres when PF Secretary General Davies Chama visited Petauke on 24 December 2016.
Petauke Magistrate Jameson N’gona has however order the state to give the duo medical reports saying it is there constitution right.The magistrate has warned the state to desist from denying suspects their constitutional rights adding that the Police should not be selective on who to give state documents.
The matter has since been adjourned to January 13 2017 for the commencement of trial while the two suspects have being granted bail in a sum of Ten Thousand each in their recognizance with sureties based in Petauke.
