Zambia’s Poor Economy Continues To Hit Retirees Below The Belt

Zambia’s poor performing economy is hitting hard on retirees who have to live each day, months and later years on promises of being paid what they worked for.
This is the story of former Bisonite Zambia Limited workers of Ndola who have endured months of agony pursuing their terminal benefits.
Without light at the end of the tunnel regarding receiving their benefits the workers have appealed to President Edgar Lungu to help them.
Former workers chairperson, Paul Banda and his Secretary, Elijah Chalwe say they have suffered enough.
