Mpulungu District Agriculture Coordinating Officer-DACO, Kennedy Sinkamba has been fired for alleged corrupt distribution of farming inputs.
This is after Mr Sinkamba allegedly sold out subsidized seeds and fertilizer to alleged fake Cooperatives who have since resorted to re-selling the inputs at much expensive prices.
Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe has confirmed the development in Mpulungu.
Mr Sikazwe who is also Mpulungu Member of Parliament has since ordered the Provincial Administration to urgently find a replacement.
And when contacted for a comment, Mr Sinkamba confirmed that the Minister has told him to vacate the office.
He, however, referred all queries to the Provincial Agriculture Coordinating Officer.
