University Teaching Hospital-UTH-casual workers have challenged the Ministry of Health to immediately end casualization at the institution.

The casual workers who matched to the Ministry of Health Headquarters charged that government has failed to address casualization which was abolished.

They disclosed that they have been working as casuals at UTH for more than two to four years and have not yet been employed on permanent basis.

The casual workers who were seeking an audience with Health Minister, Dr. Chitalu Chilufya threatened to storm state house if their issue will not be addressed.
