Zombe Residents To Be Given Back Their Land

Residents of Zombe area in Lusaka west are expected to be given back their pieces of land, several months after their houses were demolished by local authorities.
Ministry of Land, Spokesperson Diniwe Zulu has disclosed that 83 year old Loyce Mumba and all other affected Zombe residents will on 21st January 2017 be given their own pieces of land, in a bid to settle the long standing land dispute.
It has been over four months since the residents had their houses demolished on allegations that they had encroached on private property.
They have since been spending their nights in the cold.
