Bolivian Drug Dealer Jailed

A Bolivian national Nelson Guzman Baldivieso has been jailed three years by the Lusaka magistrate court for trafficking and importing narcotic drugs.
Facts in count 1 and 2 are that Baldivieso on 21st December 2016 jointly and whilst acting together with 3 Zambian women unlawfully trafficked and imported narcotic drugs namely 1.8 kilograms of cocaine.
In his mitigation Baldivieso asked for the courts leniency saying he trafficked in drugs because he wanted to raise money to pay for his sons medical bills.
Meanwhile, Tamara Chirwa, Beauty Mumba and Dora kandara who are also facing charges of drug trafficking have been scheduled for trial on 7th February.
