Chieftainess Mungule of Chibombo District in central province has expressed ignorance on how a named Mr Kayila acquired over 750 hectares of land in her chiefdom.
The land in question attracted attention following the demolition of houses, leaving 15 families homeless.
Chieftainess Mungule through the palace chairperson, says she has no idea on how such a huge piece of her land was turned into a state land.
The traditional leader alleges that the named Mr Kayila could have corruptly acquire the land.
On 23rd November 2016, Mr Kayila demolished several houses in headman Chibebe’s village on claims that they were illegal settlers.
