Eight Juveniles Apply For Constitutional Bail

Eight juveniles who have been in custody for close to two years have applied for constitutional bail.
The juveniles who were between the ages of 16 and 18 at the time of arrest in February and April 2015 are charged with aggravated robbery.

The juveniles say since then they have never appeared in court and thus asking the court to grant them bail.
They are currently remanded at Lusaka central correctional facility.
Presenting their particulars the 8 stated that they were residents of different compounds of Lusaka.
The four were arrested on 12 February 2015 while the rest were arrested on 15th April 2015.
