Failure by Livingstone Council To Pay Bills Plunges Several Streets In Darkness

Several streets in Livingstone have been plunged in darkness following the failure by the Livingstone City Council to pay electricity bills.
The Council had implemented the street lighting project in most densely populated townships of the tourist capital but the council is financially constrained to run prepaid meters installed by the ZESCO around October last year.
A MUVI TV NEWS crew that conducted a survey around the city found that the once lit areas are now in darkness.
