GBM’S Alleged Militia Drilling Case Scheduled For March 13

Trial in a matter where UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has been indicted with 20 youths for alleged unlawful drilling has been scheduled for March 13.
When the matter came up for mention, Lawyer for the accused the accused, Martha Mushipe told the court that one of the youths is unwell while Mr Mwamba is attending to other court cases on the Copperbelt.

It is alleged in count One and Two that Mr Mwamba and 20 youths on dates unknown but between February 13 and 27, 2016 while acting together with others unknown drilled the youths in the use of arms or the practice of military exercises without permission of the president.
Meanwhile February 20, 2017 has also been set as the date for trial in the case in which Mr Mwamba is alleged to have proposed violence against President Edgar Lungu.
