NVRC Workers’ Strike Enters Day Six

The strike action by workers at the National Vocational Rehabilitation Centre in Ndola has entered day six.
The workers are protesting over poor salaries and other working conditions.
National Union of Technical Education Lecturers and Allied Workers General Secretary Chikaiko Phiri says it is unfortunate that government is reluctant to address their challenges.
Mr. Phiri says workers feel cheated by government’s failure to give them a positive feedback since 2009.
