Losing UPND Parliamentary Candidate for Munali Constituency Doreen Mwamba has asked the Constitutional Court to remove alleged additional information sneaked in by Patriotic Front-PF Member of Parliament Professor Nkandu Luo.
Ms Mwamba says the filling of additional information secretly without permission of the court by Professor Luo and the Electoral Commission of Zambia-ECZ will disadvantage her during the petition hearing.
She has argued that she could not be made to bear the burden for the negligent and speedy manner in which Professor Luo chose to draft the court process.
In this matter, Professor Luo has appealed the decision of the Lusaka High Court to nullify her seat on grounds of electoral malpractices.
