PSDA Encourages Utilization of African Growth and Opportunity Act

The Private Sector Development Association has urged Zambians to take advantage of the African Growth and Opportunity Act.
The Act is an agreement between Africa and the United States of America aimed at free trade between the two.
PSDA Executive Director, Yusuf Dodia, says it is sad that Zambia has not utilised trade opportunities by taking advantage of the agreement.
Newly elected US president, Donald Trump, has made controversial international policy decisions, and it is not clear yet whether the African Growth and Opportunity Act will survive.
