Zambia Police Advised On Lilayi Alleged Sexual Abuse

The Zambia Men’s Network has advised the Zambia Police Service to engage other organisations to investigate alleged sexual abuse at Lilayi Police Training School.
Organisation Chairperson, Nelson Banda, says the police should involve other organisations for the sake of transparency.
Mr. Banda adds that it will be difficult for those who were abused to open up with information to the police as opposed to neutral third party organisations.
He has also expressed disappointment at the allegations, saying those who want to join the police service will be dissuaded.
