2 Business Ladies, NAC Worker Acquitted Of Drug Trafficking Charges

The Lusaka Magistrate Court has acquitted two business ladies and a National Airports corporation worker of drug trafficking charges.
The three were facing charges of trafficking, importation and conspiracy to import more than 1.8 kilograms of cocaine.
Tamara Chirwa, Beauty Mumba and Dora Kandara were accused of having connived with a Bolivian national to traffic and import narcotic drugs.
In her ruling Lusaka Magistrate, Nathandose Chabala says there is no evidence connecting Mumba and Kandara to the alleged offences.
Meanwhile Tamara Chirwa has been found with a case to answer in count 1 for allegedly trafficking more than 1.8 Kgs of cocaine.
